The Doddridge County Master Gardener program was established 2005. The last class training was March 2010, the next training will be March 2012 We currently have a dozen members who are working on a variety of projects. In 2011 they received the Green Thumbs Grant and are working on a Community Garden at the Senior Citizens Center. In the garden they will focus on a wide variety of gardening types to make gardening accessible for a large range of physical capabilities. In this garden there will be tabletop gardening, strawbale gardening, traditional gardening, and raised bed gardening. We are very proud of our Master Garden Program and look forward to seeing you at the next training.
