What do I need to join 4-H?
You don’t need a uniform. You don’t need lots of money. But you do need to love fun and adventure!
Why Join? Because 4-H is FUN!!!
With an expansive network reaching every corner of the country, 4-H is the nation’s largest youth development organization. More than 6 million 4-H youth in urban neighborhoods, suburban schoolyards and rural communities are members of 4-H. Don’t miss out be a part of larger 4-H family!
Who Can Join 4-H?
Cloverbuds: Youth age 5 to 8, in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
4-H Members: Youth age 9 or in the 3rd grade to 18.
Here’s what you need to do to join 4-H:
- Ask your parent or guardian for permission to join.
- Clubs reorganize in September. Is there a club near you?
- Contact one of the local club leaders about joining.
- Or if you need more information, contact the Doddridge County WVU Extension Office, 873-1801.
What Can You Do In 4-H?
Learn By Doing With Projects….. more than 200 projects to choose from including
rockets, electricity, cats, dogs, fishing,photography, bicycle, fitness, and MORE!
Develop Life Skills….leadership, communication, responsibility, time management, teamwork through club and community 4-H experiences.
Make Friends and Memories…at 4-H camp, clinics, workshops, trips, the Fair and in your 4-H Club!
